An exploratory case study aims to explore events or phenomena in everyday contexts in which they
occur. You have decided using an exploratory case study is the most effective approach in a project
staff employees to determine the influence of the observing the interactions of contract employees with
staff's safety culture on the actions of the contractor (currently the contract employees are somewhat
how you believe the study will play out, explain and discuss indifferent to safety). As the consultant,

Introduction
The exploratory case study analysis investigates the influence of the staff's safety culture
based on their interactions with diversified workgroups. There are expected differences in
performance and character between the permanent employees and the contractual employees,
which may affect different work aspects. The exploratory case study will help understand the
safety culture considering the pre-existing differences between the groups existing in the
diversified workplace (Yin, 2018). There exists no pre-existing preliminary research on safety
culture at work in this organization. This case study will investigate the issues concerning the
diversified work culture through in-depth participation of the staff, both permanent and
contractual.
Consultant’s Assessment/Recommendations
This study will observe the interaction with the contract and staff employees on an
observational level without involving them in the research. The outcome of these observations will
determine whether the interactions can be done further by directly involving the employees in their
respective cadres to assess the workplace's cultural safety (Hall& Scott, 2016; Yin, 2018). Initially,
the data to be collected is, therefore, the observational data, which will be collected by
collaborating with the bosses and the managers/ heads of different departments where these
employees are working. The human resources department will also be core in giving diversified
information about employee interactions despite their workforce diversity. This information will
be relevant in identifying different cases based on the employees' observations (Yin, 2018).
Later, there is a need to engage the employees, both staff and the ones involved, on a
contract basis to investigate their actual attitudes towards cultural safety. They will give different
3
scenarios that will illustrate the nature of the workplace and the safety culture determined by the
employees' nature of interactions.
Conclusion
The exploratory case study analysis will be instrumental in identifying factors associated
with safety culture in workplaces. The intensified exploration by engaging the employees and their
supervisors will give diversified cases in the workplace that can positively or negatively affect the
safety culture. The safety culture in workplaces is essential in ensuring that all the employees
work in a safe and productive environment to enhance improved performance and significantly
increased production and expected outputs of the organization.
